Juventus host holders Real Madrid in the Champions League semi final first leg tonight, with the Italian Serie A side looking to reach their first final in the competition for 12 years. Massimiliano Allegri’s men haven’t won the Champions League for 19 years, but stand a chance of progression if they can win the home leg against an injury-hit Real Madrid side.

The Spanish La Liga title-chasers will be without striker Karim Benzema and midfielders Luka Modric & Sami Khedira for the tie, which will give Juve confidence of coming away with a result. The Old Lady are unbeaten at home in all major competitions too, so Real have a tricky task coming out on top. Carlo Ancelotti’s side have struggled playing away from home this year too, coming unstuck on four occasions in the league and Europe in the last couple of months.
