Market: Juventus to win against Lazio

Lazio welcome defending champions Juventus to the Stadio Olimpico tonight in the Italian Serie A, and could well come unstuck given their poor form ahead this evening’s meeting. Lazio have been suffering in recent weeks while their opponents Juve have turned their own form around to climb up the table.
The Sky Blues are currently languishing in mid-table, and victory against the Old Lady would only see them move two places up the table. Lazio are five points adrift of sides in the top-five European places, and could well get dragged into the bottom half if they suffer defeat to Massimiliano Allegri’s men.
The home side are coming off the back of four defeats from their last five games, winning only once in seven in the Serie A, and their home form has started to suffer too. Lazio have picked up one point from their last six, and will be very wary of Juventus’ threat given the impressive form of the visitors.
Juve are fifth in the table after 14 games, and have finally turned their form around to challenge for the title. The Old Lady have won four consecutive games in the division, and could move one place up the table with a win against Lazio tonight.
Their defensive record has been impressive, and they are performing away from home too, winning against Empoli and Palermo on the road in recent weeks. Juventus struggled to adjust earlier in the season after having lost so many key players, but they are getting their title push back on track and will look to put pressure on the sides above them in the table.
With Lazio enduring a disappointing season, and having failed to win any of their last five games in the Serie A, they are expected to come unstuck against a Juventus side boasting four consecutive wins. Tonight’s game could go the way of the visitors as a result.
