Juventus and AC Milan have emerged as joint favourites to sign Dinamo Zagreb winger Marko Pjaca, according to Tuttosport.
Having shown a great deal of potential playing for his club and country, the 21-year-old is almost certain to make a big club move this summer, and he was believed to be on the verge of signing for Napoli.
However, while the Azzurri had their bid accepted, the player ultimately rejected a move to Stadio San Paolo, as he reportedly wants to join either Juventus or AC Milan.
Both clubs have been in talks with the midfielder’s representatives over the last couple of weeks, with the Bianconeri not prepared to offer more than €15 million.
According to reports, Dinamo’s asking price is €20 million, so there is a chance a deal will be made in the coming days.
While Juventus have already recruited Dani Alves and Miralem Pjanic, AC Milan have yet to announce a marquee signing and they can be trusted to go the extra mile for Pjaca’s signature.
