Juventus have an agreement in place to sign Ivorian forward Lacina Traore from Anzhi, according to Dinamo Moscow coach Dan Petrescu.
A number of star players have left Anzhi in the summer transfer window due to budget cuts, with no less than six of them joining Dinamo Moscow.
Asked whether they will also be making a move for Lacina Traore, Dinamo boss Dan Petrescu revealed that the player would be joining Juventus in the winter.
“I like him as a player, but we do not forget that we also have forwards Kokorin and Kuranyi. Moreover, according to my information, Traoré will move to Juventus in January,” the Romanian coach told Sport Express.
The Bianconeri seem to have regretted signing Fernando Llorente from Athletic Bilbao, with the striker only playing a couple of minutes in team’s three opening matches of the season.
That is probably the main reason why they have decided to make a move on Traore, who has been producing pretty impressive showings in Russia’s top flight.
Since joining Anzhi from Kuban Krasnodar, the 23-year-old has notched 13 goals in 27 league appearances.
