The Italian midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli has caught the attention of major Serie A clubs and Gazzeta dello Sport reports that Fiorentina and Juventus are ready to engage in a tug of war for the highly rated 19-year-old.
Viola’s Primavera team are currently playing in Viareggio tournament and Gaetano Castrovilli has been loaned from Bari solely for the purpose of helping Fiorentina in the tournament, but this former dancer has made an instant impact among his peers.
The 19-year-old midfielder has impressed last season for Bari’s youth set-up after which he was given a chance to make his Serie B debut with Spezia.
Compared to Marco Verratti, this talented midfielder has been on Juventus’ radar for quite some time and two Serie A rivals are apparently ready to go head-to-head for the signature of the young star.
The Italian teenager is contracted to Bari until the summer of 2018 and is currently valued at €250,000, but Bari are likely to receive a hefty fee for their prised possession.
