Juventus and Inter Milan are both currently in talks with the representatives of Timo Werner over a possible transfer from RB Leipzig, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
Although the striker openly spoke about Liverpool as the best team in the world and expressed his belief he would fit into Jurgen Klopp’s team well, the Champions League holders haven’t made a move for his services yet. Nonetheless, Di Marzio claims Werner will leave Leipzig this summer, with his representatives pushing hard to find him a suitable club.
To that end, they are negotiating with both Juventus and Inter Milan. With Cristiano Ronaldo being 35 and Lautaro Martinez reportedly on the verge of leaving Inter for Barcelona, both of these clubs may soon need a fresh source of goals. Werner seems just the man to provide that.
The 24-year-old Germany international has so far bagged 27 goals and had a direct hand in 12 more in 36 games across all competitions this season.
