Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been linked with a move away from Lazio for the past two and a half years and nothing has ever really happened. First it was Manchester United interested in the Serbian midfielder and then in the transfer rumour mills, he was linked with plenty of other clubs as well. But last summer it became apparent quite quickly that he was going to stay in Rome and continue playing for Lazio.
But after this season that might truly change. Milinkovic-Savic once again put a world-class performance for Lazio, this time in a big derby against Inter Milan, where he bossed the midfield and also scored the match-winning goal. And unsurprisingly, Inter and Juventus are now really interested in him.
According to Calciomercato, the two clubs are interested in the 24-year-old, but if they really want to sign him, they will have to splash a lot of cash, as many believe the player’s worth is around 100 million pounds…
