Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus and Milan are keeping close tabs on Lazio midfielder Hernanes.
The Brazilian has largely impressed since joining the club from Sao Paulo, and he is currently in talks over a new and improved deal at Stadio Olimpico.
His current contract is due to expire in June 2015, and the Biancocelesti are prepared to offer him a two-year extension.
However, the player is somewhat disappointed by club’s failure to challenge for honours this season, and is not convinced his future lies at Lazio.
Italian giants Juventus and Milan are closely monitoring the situation, and they could make an official offer for the player’s services in the summer transfer window.
Lazio value the player at €18 million and may be forced to sell if he refuses a new contract offer. Hernanes has been scoring goals for fun since arriving at Stadio Olimpico, netting 27 times in 93 Serie A fixtures.
