Juventus and Roma want Pedro

Juventus and AS Roma are both interested in signing Pedro Rodriguez from Chelsea this summer, according to Sport.

The Spain international arrived to Stamford Bridge from Barcelona in 2015, and Chelsea had high expectations from a player who had won five La Liga titles, the Champions League three times, and both the 2010 World Cup and the 2008 European championship with his national side. However, he hasn’t exactly justified those expectations, being in and out of the starting XI. This season he has only managed 18 appearances in all competitions so far, scoring twice and assisting three times. Manager Frank Lampard has mostly preferred young players in his team, and though the 33-year-old would like to return to Barcelona, it appears more likely that he’ll end up in Italy.

His contract with the London Blues expires this year, and the Serie A champions, are apparently looking to make the most of it by taking him as a free agent, as are Roma.
