Juventus and Manchester United apparently have a lot to talk about when it comes to players potentially moving between the two clubs. To that end, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is set to travel to England to meet with United representatives, according to Turin-based newspaper La Stampa (via Mirror).
Apparently, three names will be on the meeting’s agenda. The first is that of Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic, who hasn’t played at all this season and has been given permission to train away from the squad in order to keep fit and prepare for departure. United are keen on bringing the 33-year-old Croatian to Old Trafford, having failed to acquire a replacement for either of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.
United midfielder Paul Pogba has been strongly linked with Real Madrid, but Juventus are very keen on seeing him back in Turin. However, United plan to resist any attempt at taking the Frenchman away.
United are also interested in Merih Demiral, a 21-year-old Juventus centre-back with 10 caps for Turkey under his belt already. Demiral has no place in Maurizio Sarri’s team with the club having signed Matthijs de Ligt during the summer, but he’s still highly rated.
