Juventus back in for Benteke

Juventus are eyeing a summer move for Liverpool striker Christian Benteke, according to the Mirror.

The Serie A champions were interested in signing the Belgium international in January, and are set to reignite their interest at the end of the season.

The twenty-five year old has struggled to hold down a first team place since moving to the Merseyside club from Aston Villa in the summer, with the forward starting just twelve games in the Premier League all season.

He has scored just seven times, and finds himself behind Roberto Firminio and Daniel Sturridge in the Anfield pecking order while he is also competing with fellow Belgian Divock Origi for a starting berth.

Prior to his move to Liverpool, Benteke spent three seasons at Villa Park where he scored forty-nine goals in one hundred and one appearances in all competitions while he has been capped twenty-four times for his country.
