Serie A champions Juventus are expected to reignite their interest in Benfica captain Luisao, reports Sport Mediaset.
The Bianconeri attempted to recruit the experienced defender in the final days of the summer transfer window, but they ultimately failed in their quest.
However, seeing as how new boss Max Allegri remains keen on the Brazilian centre-back, Juventus plan to make a fresh assault in January.
Sport Mediaset has learned that Luisao will be available for around €3 million this winter in case Benfica fail to progress from the Champions League group stages.
The 33-year-old has spent last 11 years at Estadio da Luz, making a total of 259 league appearances for the Eagles.
Luisao, who has a contract until June 2016 at the club, has so far earned 36 Brazil caps and took part at two World Cup finals and three Copa America tournaments.
He was expected to end his career at Benfica, but is likely to be tempted by the prospect of joining Juventus.
