European powerhouses Juventus and Bayern Munich are locked in the battle for AC Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio, according to Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri appear to be in pole position to recruit the 24-year-old defender having previously attempted to sign him on several occasions.
Juventus offered to pay €5 million for a season-long loan plus another €25 million to sign the player outright in the summer, but their offer was rejected by the Rossoneri.
Nevertheless, the Italian champions are readying a fresh assault on the Italy international considering that his contract is due to expire in June 2018, and there is no new deal on the horizon.
Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti is believed to be keen on De Sciglio as well, with the talented footballer equally adept at operating on either side of a back four.
His main suitors could also be vying for the Champions League trophy this term, with the Bavarians priced at 10/3 at the moment.
