The 16-year-old French talent Naouir Ahamada looks set to join Serie A champions Juventus who beat the Premier League heavyweights Chelsea to his signature.
Dubbed the new Yaya Toure, the French whizzkid was on trial at Stamford Bridge three years ago but Bianconeri swept in to secure his services, according to L’Equipe.
The Blues were unable to persuade the Istres midfielder to leave his home at the age of 13 and eventually lost the race for his signature when Serie A powerhouse Juventus joined in. Known for their shrewd business instincts, Bianconeri have found the perfect timing to convince Ahamada to join their football academy.
Juventus are said to have made a lucrative proposal in an attempt to lure Ahamada to Turin and not only beat Chelsea but also the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Lyon and AS Monaco who were said to be keeping close tabs on the youngster.
