Juventus have been unable to agree terms with AS Roma over the signing of Nicolo Zaniolo in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners Juventus are keen on securing the services of Italy international attacking midfielder Zaniolo from Italian rivals Roma this summer.
Italian giants Juventus made a loan swap deal offer to Roma, with Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo offered to Jose Mourinho’s side. However, Roma have turned down that offer. It now remains to be seen if the Bianconeri make a new bid for the Italian star.
Zaniolo has been on the books of AS Roma since 2018 and has established himself as one of the better young creative players in Serie A. The 23-year-old, who can also play as a centre-forward, made 23 starts and five substitute appearances in Serie A for Roma last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.
