Juventus challenge Spurs for Andre Gomes

Tuttosport is reporting that Italian champions Juventus are readying fresh assault on Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.

It is no secret that the Bianconeri are keen on the Portugal international and they have now decided to make their move.

It is believed that Gomes is keen to leave Barcelona in January in search of regular playing time as he wants to secure his place in Portugal’s World Cup squad.

Therefore, Juventus have already opened talks with the Catalans over a loan until the end of the season.

The problem is that Tottenham Hotspur also look set to make their move ahead of the January window, but that is obviously good news for the player who can choose between two very good options.

Eleven games into the new campaign and Juventus trail both Napoli and Inter Milan in the Serie A standings, but they are priced at 5/4 to go all the way.
