Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta has moved to confirm reports that the Bianconeri are interested in signing Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
The Old Lady have been showing interest in the Cagliari midfielder for a while now and they recently opened negotiations with the Rossoblu.
Beppe Marotta now confirms that Juventus will try and sign the Belgian before the end of the January transfer window.
“Nainggolan is a player who interests us. We have talked with their president Massimo Cellino, but there isn’t what I’d call a real negotiation.
“We will try to bring Nainggolan to Turin in January, but there are many things to consider and above all whether Cagliari want to sell.”
The 23-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in Serie A and he has been an ever present for the Rossoblu this season.
Marotta also revealed that Luca Toni was set to complete his move to Al Nasr.
“Toni’s move to Al Nasr is not yet official, but we believe it will be completed tomorrow.”
The Dubai-based team is coached by former Inter keeper Walter Zenga and it was the Italian who insisted on bringing Toni to the club.
The 34-year-old striker has found himself on the fringes at Juventus Arena, and failed to make a single Serie A appearance this season.
