Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta has refused to rule out a possibility of making a bid for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
The Argentine forward is set to leave the club in January, with Juventus being mentioned as one of the interested clubs.
The Bianconeri general manager Beppe Marotta says Juventus are interested, but rejects claims that they have already started negotiations for Tevez.
“It’s normal to talk about players when it comes to Juventus,” Marotta told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“But we have not started negotiations to sign Tevez.
“We have a squad that meets our needs and we will evaluate week by week if we are lacking something. We are not the ones to discover Tevez.
“He is a great player and we are a great club so it’s normal that there is a link, but to say that we are negotiating is a different matter.”
