Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta insists that there will be no new signings in January.
Boosted by the heavy summer recruitment, the Bianconeri enjoyed a solid start to the season, but Beppe Marotta has now virtually ruled out January buys.
“The club made some significant investment in the summer and I don’t think we’ll be making any more,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.
“Saying that, if there are some opportunities, like Andrea Barzagli last year, then we’ll look to take advantage of them if we can.”
The Old Lady is, however, expected to offload several players in January, with Amauri and Krasic some of the players expected to leave.
“We spoke to him (Amauri) last week. He wants to find a new club as soon as possible. We just have to find the right buyer.”
“At this moment in time he (Krasic) is not demonstrating the value that he has, but he is a strong player and he’s proved it.”
