Juventus close in on Ramsey

According to a report from Sky Italia, Juventus are in the latter stages of a deal that will see them bring Aaron Ramsey to the club from Arsenal. The Welshman’s future has been up in the air for what feels like forever, and while Inter Milan are also said to be interested, the Italian champions are believed to be the front runners.

Ramsey was told that he wouldn’t receive a new deal earlier this year, but there’s still some fans out there who believe he’s going to do a U-turn. Whether you believe in that theory or not, there’s no denying that a lot of supporters are sick of hearing about it.

Ramsey is a really capable midfielder but even his biggest fans will be surprised by a move of this nature, if only because it’s quite rare to see high level British stars move abroad – even in the modern day.
