Serie A outfit Juventus are stepping up their efforts to sign Italian midfielder Romulo from Hellas Verona, reports Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri have already signed Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid and are set to recruit Udinese’s Roberto Pereyra.
And Hellas Verona star Romulo could become their third signing of the transfer window as Tuttosport understands Juventus officials have agreed personal terms with the 27-year-old footballer.
The club have yet to reach an understanding with the Gialloblu, who have placed an €8 million price tag on the player who can also operate at right back.
Romulo enjoyed a very successful season with Hellas Verona since arriving from Fiorentina on a co-ownership deal, having managed 6 goals and 8 assists in 32 league outings.
The Gialloblu in turn purchased the other half of his contract from Viola, while the player further proved his credentials by making Italy’s provisional World Cup squad.
