According to Sky Sports, Italian giants Juventus are close to finalising a deal for youngster Stephy Mavididi. The young Englishman is believed to have flown to Italy in order to have a medical with the champions, as The Old Lady attempts to get the deal over the line before the transfer window deadline.
Mavididi, 20, is probably more well known for being a Football Manager star as opposed to an Arsenal player given his lack of playing opportunities over the years. He’s spent time on loan with Charlton and Preston throughout the course of his young career, but now, he’s aiming to continue his development with one of the best clubs in European football.
Juve will be hoping that this is the year they can bring the Champions League trophy home after two final defeats in their recent history, and with Cristiano Ronaldo at the club, Mavididi will be able to learn from one of the all-time greats.
