(GSM) – Juventus are edging closer to a deal for Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko, according to Tuttosport. The Italian sport newspaper reports the Bianconeri will complete the move within two weeks.

It seems Dzeko is looking to leave Die Wolfe despite having a contract with the Germans which expires three years from now.

Manchester City have also been linked with the Bosnian striker but Juve appear to be just ahead in the race.

Wolfsburg want between €30 million and €35m for their prolific striker and while that seems a stretch for the Turin giants, they are ready to offer Diego or Mohammed Sissoko plus cash in return for the striker.

It’s no secret the Germans like Diego who has failed to live up to the expectations in Turin since his arrival from Werder Bremen last year.

The next step will see Giuseppe Marotta speak with his German colleague Dieter Hoeness in an attempt to close a deal.
