Juventus are closing in on signing Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli, according to AS.
The 26-year-old Polish striker, who scored 14 goals in 33 appearances in a Napoli shirt this season, has reportedly already agreed personal terms with the Serie A champions, and his proposed arrival to the Allianz Stadium is expected to signal the permanent departure of Gonzalo Higuain from Turin. The 32-year-old Argentinian started only half of his team’s top-flight matches this season despite being the only designated striker in their ranks, with head coach Maurizio Sarri preferring to utilize Cristiano Ronaldo or Paulo Dybala in the central attacking role in the the other half.
Juventus and Napoli are yet to agree a transfer fee for Milik, but with the Poland international now in his final 12 months under contract and Napoli apparently interested in Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi, the talks between the two clubs aren’t likely to be drawn out too much.
