Brazilian media outlet Globo Esporte understands Serie A champions Juventus have made a move for Nice left-back Dalbert, adding that negotiations over a possible summer transfer are at a very advanced stage.
Dalbert has been linked with a Serie A switch on several occasions before, but Inter Milan were unwilling to match the €15 million valuation of the Nice star.
But now Juventus have stepped up the efforts to sign the 23-year-old defender who is eyed as a direct replacement for Alex Sandro.
Bianconeri were reluctant to sell their first-team star but the club general manager Beppe Marotta has confirmed that a substantial offer for Sandro has arrived and that Juventus will not keep any player at the club against their own will.
With Alex Sandro on his way to the Premier League champions Chelsea, Juventus have now switched their focus to Dalbert, who also attracted plenty of interest from Portugal giants Sporting CP as well.
