Juventus are on the verge of signing Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, Tuttosport has revealed.
The 18-year-old has less than six months left on his contact at Old Trafford and it looks as though he won’t be signing a new deal.
The promising midfielder is disappointed by the lack of opportunities at Old Trafford and he is now looking for a new challenge.
Pogba failed to feature in a single Premier League game this season, although he made three substitute appearances in the Carling Cup.
Arsenal and Manchester City have entered the race to sign the young Frenchman, but recent reports suggest that Juventus are leading the race for the player’s signature.
According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri have already made an offer to the player’s agent and they hope to conclude the transfer within the next few weeks.
Juventus currently sit at the Serie A summit, four points clear of second-placed Milan, who have a game in hand.
