Italian champions Juventus have confirmed reports linking them with a January move for Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski.
The Germany international is growing increasingly frustrated by the lack of playing time at the Emirates and there is every chance he will require a transfer in the winter.
Podolski revealed few days ago that he planned to quit the Gunners unless his status at the club improved significantly.
Italian giants Juventus and Inter were subsequently mentioned as his suitors and the Bianconeri have now moved to confirm they are hoping to lure the 29-year-old to Turin.
“If there is a possibility in January to move on the transfer market (for Podolski) we will do that,” Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta was quoted as saying in Bild.
Lukas Podolski joined Arsenal from Koln in the summer of 2012 and has since bagged 19 goals in 55 Premier League outings for the club.
He has, however, struggled for playing time this season, making just two substitute appearances in the Premier League so far.
