Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has revealed that Juventus are weighing up move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Thiago Motta.
The versatile midfielder produced an excellent performance in Italy’s 2-2 draw with Denmark despite being given a holding midfield role, and he is now being linked with a move to Italian Serie A.
Tuttosport claims that Juventus are keen on adding the 31-year-old to their ranks, with a €5 million bid being mooted.
With Andrea Pirlo’s long-term future in doubt, Antonio Conte is confident Thiago Motta would be a great addition to the squad in Turin.
The experienced midfielder has two years left on his contract at Parc des Princes, but it is believed he would be interested in a return to Serie A.
Thiago Motta has plenty of Serie A experience, having made a total of 81 Serie A appearances playing for Inter and Genoa, scoring no less than 17 goals in the process.
