Juventus continue to go after Icardi

According to a recent report from over in Italy, Juventus are planning on taking advantage of Mauro Icardi’s price tag falling at Inter Milan. The aim is to make him their new number 9 in time for the start of the season, following months and months of uncertainty regarding the status of his contract.

The Argentine forward has a proven goalscoring record in Serie A, but it doesn’t seem as if his ability is the issue here. Nobody really knows the full story behind the Icardi ordeal since the controversy surrounding his contract began, but one thing is certain: Mauro, in some way, shape or form, played a role in it, and Juventus will be aware of that.

They may not want a player on their books that is capable of holding up an entire club like that, and it’s not exactly hard to see or understand why.

For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.
