Juventus continue van de Beek push

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Juventus have entered the race to try and sign Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek.

This possible link-up has been rumoured over the last few weeks and now, it appears as if the Old Lady is taking things up a notch in its pursuit of the 24-year-old Dutchman.

For whatever reason Donny van de Beek hasn’t quite enjoyed the kind of success many were hoping he would at Old Trafford and while that isn’t entirely his fault, some wonder whether or not the Premier League just doesn’t suit his style of play.

Juventus are going through something of a transition period themselves right now but if they’re serious about rebuilding in a brand new light, bringing in someone as hungry and determined as van de Beek could be great for them.

He’s been “mistreated” in the eyes of many by United, so maybe the answer is a change of pace.
