The football in Italy maybe has stopped for many Serie A sides, but that does not mean they are going to stop planning for the summer transfer window. The coronavirus is making a lot of problems in Italy and because of it, many Serie A matches have been postponed, including the big Italian derby between Juventus and Inter.
But in those boardrooms, plans are still being made and one of Juventus’ plans might not came to fruition in the end. According to Calciomercato, Juventus no more have plans to reignite their pursuit of Allan when the transfer market reopens. Bianconerri have reportedly been interested in signing Napoli midfielder, but in the end nothing of that happened in the January transfer window.
One of the reasons was that Napoli wanted 40 million euros for the 29-year-old Brazilian, which was too much for Juve. Allan’s current employers have no plans to drop that price this summer, which is why Juventus are now ready to move on to alternative targets.
