Alessio Secco, Juventus` director of football, has denied that Rafinha is about to join his club. Italian media speculated about a transfer from Schalke 04 for the Brazilian defender.

“Rafinha? He is not our objective. He is a non-EU player and so we do not have any space for him in the team. We will not sign anyone for the right side (of the pitch),” Secco told Calciomercato.it.

On Wednesday, several Italian media were convinced that the right back would join `The Old Lady` for around £ 8 million.
