Having just clinched their fifth consecutive Serie A title Italian giants Juventus are already making preparations for the new season.
The Old Lady have identified the two key summer signings that will add an extra quality to Juventus’ squad and are tipped to make their move in the summer to try and bring Javier Pastore and Edinson Cavani to Turin, Corriere dello Sport have reported.
Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta believes that Paris Saint-Germain’s duo will be a perfect addition to Allegri’s team and has made no secret about the club’s interest in the Argentine and the Uruguayan.
Javier Pastore and Edison Cavani have been used sparingly this season by PSG boss Laurent Blanc, but the French champions are believed not to be too keen to let go of their attacking duo.
Pastore has been the first big-name signing of the club’s new owners and the Argentine holds a special place in the hearts of club chiefs, while there have been increasing reports that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to offer Edinson Cavani a new deal in attempt to persuade the Uruguay international to stay at Parc des Princes.
His current deal runs out in 2018 and Cavani could consider staying with the club, more so if Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaves Paris during summer.
