Juventus end interest in Marcelo

According to a recent report from AS, Juventus have brought their interest in Real Madrid sensation Marcelo to an end. They are now more interested in the possibility of bringing Theo Hernandez, his Real teammate, to the club. Real are said to want £26 million in order to agree to sell him, which is the figure that they paid city rivals Atletico a few years ago. In terms of Marcelo, however, it would appear as if Zinedine Zidane’s return to the club as manager is what has swung him back in the right direction. Initially it seemed like he was interested in heading to Italy in order to join back up with Cristiano Ronaldo, although it always felt like Zidane would’ve needed to move too in order for it to become a feasible idea.

Now, it certainly seems likely that this legend of the Bernabeu is going to wind up retiring with the club.
