Juventus enter Depay race

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Juventus have emerged as real contenders in the race to try and sign Lyon star Memphis Depay.

For the longest time now it’s seemed as if Barca were the ones in control of this operation, with the thought process being that they would sign him during the summer. Alas, as the Old Lady continues to prepare for a reset in the next few months, it appears as if Depay is now on their radar.

Lyon themselves would probably love to keep hold of him but given how quickly he’s been able to get back to a position of real prominence in world football, it should be tough for them to keep hold of him.

Barcelona are still viewed as frontrunners in this equation but Juve have the resource necessary to make someone like Depay a real star – just so long as he’s interested in the idea.
