Earlier this week we reported that Premier League giants Manchester United had readied a £60m bid for Juventus superstar Paulo Dybala. Sadly for United manager Jose Mourinho, the Italian super club laughed at that figure, instead setting their Argentinian maestro’s price at £140m, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The talented forward has found himself on the bench for the Old Lady’s past few games, having seen his form drop off a cliff. Dybala had bagged 10 goals in the first six games of this Serie A season, but has been struggling since. There is still little doubt of his remarkable talent, and a move to United would certainly present an exciting new challenge.
United certainly do need to make some sort of statement, especially with their rivals Manchester City currently busy storming to the Premier League title. It will take a giant £140m bid to secure Dybala’s services, but he could well be worth a figure like that.
