Juventus are interested in signing Antonio Rudiger from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to Bild. Rudiger is out of contract at defending European champions Chelsea at the end of the season, and Italian giants Juventus are keen on securing the services of the Germany international central defender on a free transfer.
It has been reported that Chelsea and Rudiger had agreed personal terms over a new deal, although terms of a signing-on fee were not agreed upon. However, sanctions against the Blues mean that that Madid are back in the picture, as, under the current terms, Chelsea are unable to give new deals to any of their players.
Rudiger has scored two goals in 26 Premier League matches for Chelsea so far this season. The 29-year-old centre-back has also played six times the Champions League and twice in the FA Cup for Thomas Tuchel’s side this campaign.
