Juventus are interested in signing Felipe Anderson as a free agent when his contract with Lazio expires at the end of the season, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Cristiano Giuntoli, Juventus’ sporting director, was apparently in Rome to watch the Brazilian winger perform live in his team’s surprising victory over Bayern Munich in the first leg of their encounter in the Champions League round of 16, and there has already been direct contact between his representatives and the Bianconeri.
Juventus are looking to expand their squad with proven high-quality players ahead of returning to play in the Champions League next season, and Anderson is one of their main targets in that respect.
The 30-year-old attacker has so far made 33 appearances for Lazio across all competitions this season, scoring three goals and producing twice as many assists. He is a regular member of the starting XI for Maurizio Sarri’s team, but as things stand at the moment, it seems he won’t be signing a new contract with his current club.
