It’s been a couple of weeks since reports broke of Juventus enquiring about the possibility of signing Jadon Sancho from Manchester United, and now, according to Team Talk, the Serie A giants are considering a swoop for both the former Borussia Dortmund winger and Donny van de Beek.
Both Sancho and Van de Beek have been out of favour with United manager Erik ten Hag, despite the latter working successfully with him before at Ajax. Van de Beek has so far made only two appearances this season, with a total of just 21 minutes spent on the pitch combined. He has apparently been told to find a new club.
As for Sancho, it appears there is no way back for him into the squad while Ten Hag is at the club, after his scathing public response to the manager’s criticism several months ago. The 23-year-old played the first three matches of the season in the Premier League, all from the bench, and hasn’t played since. It would appear that it would be best for both the player and the club to part ways as soon as possible, while there is still interest in his services.
