Italian champions Juventus are considering a summer bid for Lazio forward Balde Diao Keita, La Gazzetta dello Sport can reveal.
The Senegalese forward is widely expected to leave the Biancocelesti in the summer transfer window and chances are he will remain in Italy.
While Keita’s current deal is due to expire in June 2018, the striker doesn’t seem to be prepared to extend his contract at Stadio Olimpico, meaning a summer exit is on the horizon.
Juventus have yet to open talks with Lazio chairman Claudio Lotito, but they believe the 22-year-old can develop into a high-quality footballer and they are thinking about submitting an official proposal for his services.
Balde Keita did well to score 13 goals in just 18 Serie A starts this season, forming an excellent attacking partnership with red-hot Ciro Immobile.
AC Milan are believed to be the favourites for his signature, but few other top clubs are keen as well.
