Italian champions Juventus are weighing up a summer move for Barcelona full-back Daniel Alves, according to Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri officials are working hard in an attempt to persuade star defender Stephan Lichtsteiner into signing a contract extension given that his current deal expires in less than a year.
And with the two sides no closer to reaching an agreement, Juventus are forced to consider signing a replacement for the Switzerland international.
Tuttosport has suggested that the Bianconeri are ready to rekindle their interest in the long-term target, who should be available on a free transfer in the summer.
Alves has already made it clear that he plans to leave Camp Nou at the end of the season and chances are he will be interested to hear what Juventus has to offer.
The Bianconeri have created a three-point cushion at the Serie A summit and can now be backed at 4/7 to win the league title.
