Italian champions Juventus are weighing up January bid for Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva, Tuttosport has learned.
Having recovered well from the slow start to the season, the Bianconeri are back in the Serie A title chase, and there are unlikely to be major changes to the squad this winter.
However, coach Max Allegri does plan to recruit one or two quality footballers in January, but without disrupting the balance of the side.
According to Tuttosport, Monaco starlet Bernardo Silva has emerged as one of their main targets, with the Bianconeri scouts having submitted glowing reports on the 21-year-old to general manager Beppe Marotta and sporting director Fabio Paratici.
Juventus are aware that the Portugal international will not be available on the cheap, but they could decide to test Monaco’s resolve with an early bid in January.
Bernardo Silva has largely impressed since arriving at Stade Louis II from Benfica, scoring 13 goals in 69 competitive outings.
