Juventus eyeing Branislav Ivanovic

Chelsea defender and Serbia captain Branislav Ivanovic could make a move away from Stamford Bridge in January, after eight years of loyal service with the Blues.

The experienced and highly reliable 32-year-old defender has fallen out of favour with Chelsea new boss Antonio Conte, who fails to find a place for Ivanovic in his high-flying 3-4-3 system and has so far been used sporadically.

Having made nine Premier League appearances, six of which were starts, Ivanovic is being linked with a switch that would allow him to seek first-team action elsewhere.

According to the reports from the Italian media outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, Serie A champions Juventus are exploring the possibility of making a move for the Serbian, once the transfer window reopens.

Bianconeri are experiencing serious selection problems at the back with Leonardo Bonucci, Andrea Barzaghi, Dani Alves all ruled out and are poised to make some defensive reinforcements during winter.
