Portuguese media outlet A Bola has learned that Serie A giants Juventus are keeping close tabs on Sporting Braga youngster Danilo Barbosa da Silva.
The 18-year-old joined the club from Vasco da Gama in the summer, and he did not feature in the first four games of the new campaign.
However, Danilo has since earned three successive starts in Primeira Liga, and he seems to have already caught the eye of top European sides.
A Bola understands that Juventus lead the chase for the midfielder’s signature, with the Bianconeri scouts having watched the youngster in the 2-1 defeat to FC Porto.
Danilo is unlikely to be leaving on the cheap through considering that he has a contract until June 2019 with Sporting Braga, while his release clause stands at €40 million.
The talented footballer has represented his country at the Under-21 level, having made five appearances for Brazil at the 2013 World Youth Festival in Toulon.
