Italian giants Juventus are keeping close tabs on Lyon youngster Anthony Martial, reports L’Equipe.
The Bianconeri have been watching the talented forward during the past few weeks and it appears they are ready to step up their interest in the player.
Juventus officials aim to take advantage of Lyon’s difficult financial situation and snatch one of their hottest prospects in the summer.
Anthony Martial, 17, signed his first professional contract with the club last summer, and he is tied to les Gones until June 2015.
The highly rated striker has already made four competitive appearances for Lyon this season, while continuing to impress playing for the reserves.
He is widely regarded as one of the hottest prospects to have come out of club’s youth academy in recent years and Lyon face a real battle on their hands to keep hold of their starlet.
The France Under-18 international is predicted a bright future in the game, but it remains to be seen whether he can resist the lure of the Bianconeri.
