French daily newspaper L’Equipe understands that Italian champions Juventus are hot on the trail of Monaco midfielder Jeremy Toulalan.
The Bianconeri have signed a host of very good footballers on a free transfer over the last couple of years and they plan to add the Frenchman to that list.
Namely, Toulalan has a contract until the end of the season at Stade Louis II and he has no intention to remain in the Principality due to club’s lack of ambition.
Prizing the 31-year-old footballer to Turin will be no easy task though given that boyhood club Nantes, Atletico Madrid and sides from the United States are also keen.
Jeremy Toulalan has spent the majority of his career in France, playing for Nantes, Lyon and Monaco, while also enjoying a two-year spell with Malaga.
His current side Monaco face Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League later today and they can be backed at 9/2 to win at Bay Arena.
