Juventus eyeing Oscar swoop

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport is reporting that Juventus are considering a summer bid for Chelsea midfielder Oscar.

The Bianconeri plan to recruit an attacking midfielder who would play behind the two strikers and the Brazilian is one of their primary targets.

Oscar is no longer considered an undisputed starter at Stamford Bridge and Jose Mourinho may be ready to listen to offers for his services.

The Brazilian has enjoyed mixed success since joining the Blues from Internacional three years back, scoring 18 goals in 95 Premier League outings.

Oscar managed 6 goals and 8 assists to help Chelsea lift the league trophy at the end of the 2014/2015 campaign.

Despite his fragile age, the midfielder already has 45 Brazil caps to his name, but he was surprisingly left out of the country’s squad for the 2015 Copa America.

Oscar has a contract until June 2015 at Stamford Bridge, meaning he will not be available on the cheap.
