Juventus go after Lukaku

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Italian champions Juventu are now the favourites to complete the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United. The Belgian forward has been heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan this summer, and yet despite Inter claiming that they are still in the process of working on a deal for him, it now appears as if Juve have swept in at the eleventh hour.

One of the big question marks about Lukaku’s move to Italy is how much game time he would receive. With Inter it feels like he would be a featured member of the first team squad, especially if we end up seeing Mauro Icardi leave later on this summer. If he goes to Juve, though, it’d be a little bit more uncertain – which opens up the floor for some kind of bidding process in the not so distant future.
