Juventus go after Martial

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Juventus are interested in making a play to sign Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.

The overwhelming belief, as of this writing, is that Anthony Martial’s time with Manchester United will come to an end this summer. While he did manage to grab a goal on his return this past weekend, the 27-year-old still hasn’t quite been able to live up to expectations in recent times.

He first arrived at Old Trafford back in 2015 and after an initially bright start, he’s been overshadowed more often than not during his tenure.

The good news, though, is that he’s still young, and that it seems as if Juve are willing to offer him a lifeline.

The Italian giants have had struggles of their own in the last few years but in equal measure, they’ll also be able to offer the Frenchman more consistent minutes on the pitch.
