Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport claims that Italian champions Juventus are weighing up summer bid for Barcelona icon Andres Iniesta.
The 33-year-old will be out of contract at the end of the current campaign and the Bianconeri hope he would consider joining them on a free transfer next summer.
Juventus have signed quite a few high-profile footballers on free transfers over the last few years, including Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba and Fernando Llorente, and they plan to add Andres Iniesta to that list.
Much will depend on the player’s plans, but it is believed that he would consider leaving Camp Nou since he is no longer an undisputed starter at Barcelona.
Andres Iniesta has so far made over 400 La Liga appearances for the Catalans, scoring 34 goals and winning eight league trophies.
His suitors Juventus play host to Chievo on Saturday evening and they can be backed at 11/4 to win by two goals.
